My name is Alicia and I’m from Melbourne, Australia.


I have worked as a freelance designer since 2009, specializing in concept art and visualisation.


Conceptualisation is the process of refining abstract ideas or complex information down to their core meanings.

Visualisation is the next stage, where the ideas are brought to life via illustration.


I have worked on projects ranging from animation design, to architectural / interior design artist impressions, ideation illustration, market research concept boards, product design, infographics, map layout and book illustration.

Moose Toys (2015)

Concept Art, Layout

Development of new brands and concepts.
Worked on the existing brands: Shopkins, Little Live Pets, Shoppies.
Developed the Shopkins World, including background drawings and playset design. Created the Shopville map from rough sketch to final render. Expanded on the Shopkins sub-brands, creating new storylines, worlds and characters.



Kyla May Productions (2010 – 2015)

Character Design, Layout Design, Concept Art, Illustration

Creation of assets (characters, props, backgrounds) for TV Animation: SheZow, and Flea Bag.
Development of concept art for the adaptation of ‘Grandma’s Kitchen’ for ABC.
Illustrations for the Scholastic series “Star Girl” and the Penguin series “Juliet Nearly A Vet”.



GfK Marketing (2014 – 2015)

Ideation, Visualisation and Imagery Creation

Clients: Optus, General Mills (Latina Fresh Pasta)
Visualisation for ideation sessions. Interpreted abstract concepts as illustrations to prompt focused discussion and further product development. Created finished art for customer research and evaluation.



Metrix Consulting (2015)

Ideation, Infographics, Visualisation and Imagery Creation

Clients: Nestle, Crown Casino
Created infographics and imagery to represent detailed research information. Transformed complex and abstract ideas into visual designs.



Wesley College (2010 – 2015)

Infographics, Ideation, Interior Design, Layout and Graphic Design

Creation of infographics, animatics and graphic design layouts.
Designed wall decals for a range of spaces across the campus.
Layout and visual research for the publications.

Created concept drawings for interior design projects, pop-up shops and promotional events.

Visualisation and Concept Development

Created illustrative boards depicting new products created by the client, Fonterra, to be used in customer research and evaluation.

Created a series of illustraions to be seamlessly embossed onto a range of European themed tea-light lanterns.
